Bio

Johnny Jones originally from Forest Hill, WV has spent most his life involved in music as a singer, songwriter, musician and recording artist.

While an airman in the air force he was selected for the ATC Command Performance, a group of air force men and women entertaining at air force and army bases all around the country. After his tour of duty, Johnny returned to WV where he kept busy performing with different bands and also as a solo performer. He also did some recording and did many guest appearances on a local TV show called The Country Jamboree. Among the performers on that show was a future star in country music, the late Mel Street.

In the 70’s, he made the move to Nashville and spent the next couple years traveling with his own band playing country music in Canada and parts of the US.

Johnny still performs some country music but has changed his musical direction toward Inspirational Country Music that has charted from his four Inspirational CD’s since 2009. Johnny recorded his latest two CD’s in Nashville using Nashville musicians. Each song that has been released to radio has gotten the attention of new fans and additional radio stations as they climb on the charts.

Every year he is nominated in different categories at awards shows held in different parts of the country.
